How to connect Kognitiv with myallocator

This article will show you how to setup Kognitiv with Myallocator

Please note: If you do not have an account with Kognitiv, please first contact support.na@kognitiv.com  for Kognitive team to provide you with information on how to get you set up with their Booking Manager.

Setup Process

1. Add myallocator to your Kognitiv Extranet

1.1 To activate myalloctor as a channel manager within the Kognitiv BookingManager go to Interfaces => PMS and click Add PMS

1.2 Once done, please inform support.na@kognitiv.com. Their team members will support you with the mapping of rooms and rate plans.

2. Setup Kognitiv in myallocator

2.1.   Log into your myallocator by Cloudbeds account

2.2.   Click on Manage and then Channels from the drop-down on the left

2.3.   Click Add Channel and select Kognitiv as the channel

2.4.   Enter your credentials (received from Kognitiv) and click Next

  1. Hotel ID: Enter the Hotel ID provided by Kognitiv
  2. Password: Enter the Token provided by Kognitiv

 

 

2.5.   Map one myallocator room type to one room type on Kognitiv! If you need assistance please refer to this guide: Room Mapping Guidelines

2.6.   Ensure your currency is set to the currency you have selected in Kognitiv.

2.7.   On your channel summary page you’ll be able to see that the setup has been completed.

3. Perform a Full Refresh

3.1.   Within myallocator, click Availability

3.2.   Click Full Refresh

3.3.   Refresh all channels

3.4.   Start Refresh

3.5.   You are done!
