There are two ways to set the Minimum and Maximum Length of Stay:
- Default Method
- Long Term Method
This article will show you how to use both methods.
You can set the Default Minimum and Maximum Length of Stay in the General Settings page.
Using the Default method, your Minimum and Maximum stay settings will be applied to every night in the future, unless you override them within the Set Long Term method.
We recommend that you set the Default method to the most common Minimum and Maximum stay settings that your property operates from.
Set Long Term Method
If you want to override the Default Minimum / Maximum Length of Stay for certain dates, you can do that with the Set Long Term button on the Availability page.
Once on the Availability Page, follow Steps 1 through 11 to set the Minimum Stay that you desire.
In the example abelow, I have chosen to set a "Minimum Stay" of 2 Days for the following:
- Room: Tom's Suite
- Nights: Friday and Saturday Nights
- Dates: 2015-11-13 through 2016-01-03
- Minimum Stay: 2 Nights
You can of course choose to set a Minimum Stay on any combination of Rooms, Nights and Dates.
Bear in mind - if you have a special rate with booking.com, that special rate will override the Minimum Stay that you set on this page. More information on that subject can be found here: Why is the MinLOS/MaxLOS not being updated on the channel?
