How to add and manage myallocator users

In this article we will show you how to add, edit and manage users to your myallocator account and specify their account permissions.

How to Add a New User
  1. Click on Manage
  2. Click on 'Add New User'
  3. Enter the user information
  4. Permissions - please check the box next to each permission that you want the user to have.

Once you finish, click to Add

  • If you have a group of properties under the same myallocator username, please select the permissions for each property
  • If you only want the user account to have access to one property, you would only select the boxes under the property you want them to access and so on
How to Manage, Edit or Change the password to an existing user account

If you are connected to myallocator via a Property Management System (PMS), changing your password may break the connection from your PMS. This may result in failed inventory updates and booking downloads.

Before proceeding, please ask your PMS about the impact of changing your myallocator password and also how to update a new password in PMS to keep both systems synced.

  1. Click on Manage
  2. Select 'View/Change Users'
  3. To edit a user, click on the pencil icon
  4. Choose the information you want to edit and click update. On this page, you can edit the following information:

Once you finish, click on Update

User names can never be changed in myallocator due to database limitations.

How to Manage my own User

If you are connected to myallocator via a Property Management System (PMS), changing your password may break the connection from your PMS. This may result in failed inventory updates and booking downloads. Please ask your PMS about the impact of changing your myallocator password before proceeding.

To change the information for your user account (such as the Password) click on "Your User" section
