The guest Address / Zip Code is missing from my reservation details - why?

Background

There are two separate fields that myallocator will potentially display, as long as the channel/ota has sent us the Address / Zip Code:

  1. The Guest's "Personal Data" Address / Zip Code
  2. The Credit Card Billing Address / Zip Code

NOTE: Myallocator cannot control if we are sent the Address / Zip Code(s), but we will always display the Address / Zip Code(s) if they are sent to us.

NOTE: Most channels do not include the Guest Address / Zip Code or the Billing Address / Zip Code at all.  

1. The Guest's "Personal Data" Address / Zip Code

When available, myallocator will include the Guest's physical Address / Zip Code that they entered into the OTA within the Personal Data section of the booking as shown below.

This information is only available if the channel/OTA sends it to us.  We do not control if the Address / Zip Code is sent to us or not, but we will always display it if the information was included by the channel/OTA.

 

2. The Credit Card Billing Address / Zip Code

The other potential Address / Zip Code that myallocator will display is the Credit Card Billing Address / Zip Code.

This Address / Zip Code is totally separate from the Personal Data Address / Zip Code.  

If the channel/OTA sends credit card details to myallocator (such as booking.com and Expedia) they may or may not include the Address / Zip Code of the credit card.

If they do not include the Address / Zip Code, we have no way of displaying it.

If however, they do include the Address / Zip Code, you will be able to view it by clicking the Show Credit Card Data button within the booking as shown below.

  1. Click "Show credit card" when viewing the reservation
  2. Enter your Credit Card Password
  3. Click Show
  4. If present, the Address / Zip Code will appear
  5. If there is no Address / Zip Code, it means the channel/OTA did not send us the Address / Zip Code.

Again - myallocator cannot control whether the Addresss / Zip Code is sent to us or not.  We will always display it if it's sent to us.

 
 

What if I want my channel/OTA to require guest Address / Zip Codes and send them to myallocator?

You will need to enquire with your Account Manager at the OTA to determine if this is possible.  

For many channels, this request is not even possible.  

Only your Account Manager at the OTA can assist you with this request.

Again, myallocator cannot control if the Address / Zip Code is a required field for guests.  We also cannot control whether the OTA sends us the Address / Zip Code or not.

 

If I have a PMS, does myallocator send the Address / Zip Codes to my PMS system?

When the PMS "pulls" data from myallocator, we will send any and all of the following items that they ask for:

  •       "CardType"
  •       "CardNumber"
  •       "CardHolderAddress"
  •       "CardHolderName"
  •       "CardHolderCity"
  •       "CardCVV"
  •       "CardHolderState"
  •       "CardExpiryYear"
  •       "CardHolderPostCode"
  •       "CardExpiryMonth"
  •       "CardHolderCountry"

Your PMS system may not be pulling all of the above information from us.  Please ask your PMS to review our API documentation to ensure that they are pulling all of this information.
