Set up two-factor authentication (2FA) for your account


Two-factor authentication is an important additional security layer for your account. When set up, you need to provide a code to log in. This code can be received via text message, phone call, or an authentication app. 

Note: Setting up two-factor authentication is required in order to map new channels and view credit card details within the Cloudbeds channel manager system.

Setup your two-factor authentication (2FA)

  1. Open the two-factor authentication page in the main left menu
  2. Click to setup two-factor authentication

3. Select the authentication method you prefer: Phone or Authenticator App. 

3.1. Using a Phone Number

  1. Select Phone Number (text message and voice call) option
  2. Select your Country Code
  3. Enter your Phone Number
  4. Choose the method
  5. Click to proceed
  6. Enter the code you received
  7. Click to proceed

The setup is complete.

3.2. Using an Authenticator App (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc).

  1. Select the Authenticator App option
  2. Scan the QR Code using your Authenticator App, or enter the code manually if you cannot scan the code.
  3. Enter the code provided by your Authenticator App
  4. Click to proceed

The setup is complete.
